    Kryptview a850 hd output help

    Hi

I have an issue with my new KV a850. The default settings on the kv box are HDMI output and 1080i resolution. However when connecting to my hd tv it is very jittery and you can barely make out the screen. Instead the only way around it is to change the settings to 526i which is very low? I've tried different HDMI leads but no joy it seems like an issue with the box?

Also my channels on 526i output are still very jittery especially all the HD channels?

Can someone pls help here? Thanks

yes i do but even without the attenuator or without even any feed, i am unable to see the menu screen it comes on and disappears and can't seem to view anything at all.

Only way is by changing the settings on the kv box to video output 526p?

is the hdmi cable pushed fully home?you should be able to see the menu clearly, does removing the coaxial and lan cable have any difference?

i have tried removing the coaxial and lan cable but still same result.

Yea the HDMI wire is slotted all the way in on both sides and ive tried 3 different HDMI leads still same result.

Can't even see the menu only when i put the settings on 526p it appears. Everytime i switch the box off and on the settings go back to 1080p (even though i've saved it from the KV menu settings) then i have to struggle by barely seeing the menu screen to change it back to 526p so i can see properly?

ok just rechecking settings on box is there an option to change
from pal-rgb as that was on the sd box, maybe box and tv differ, its a big learning curve for all.

The KV box on the tv settings page has 'audio output (stero l/r), dolby output (downmix) video output (hdmi) scart output (cvbs) video resolution (576p) - which is the only one it works on and brightness and contrast (50)

No other settings to change from pal/rgb. So settings seem ok to me?

                          Thnks

Everything on the kv box output settings seems to be fine its as I've written it on my previous post.. The tv settings also set to HDMI but it doesn't have any further settings on the tv
