i have heard the not registered problem before meaning back to supplier,this is a new one " not certified ",if the s/w online did not work there were the newer files added to downloads so you did not have to update.
nice one to get it back working again
put box on another unit and it started to work brought it home and is working what the problem was i still dont know but thanks to everyone who replied cheers edsices
hmm, I can only guess that there was either -
1/ A bad read of certificate information from EEprom storage
2/ some internet problem causing corrupted data packets which led to server authentication failing
