    Advice please on Satellite box

I cancelled my satellite subscription as it was too expensive and have been offered a Kryptview. Is this the best box on the market? I fancy one that can also record. Any help appreciated. Thank you

If you want the closest box to Sly plus you need to do some research on the VU+ Duo mate

Thanks Nutty. Much appreciated. I may look for a cheaper option as it looks a bit pricey on Amazon.

I am lost now. The Kryptview box I was offered is currently being used to watch satellite tv, connected via their internet connection. I assumed the Openbox and VU+ was the same sort of thing. If you or anyone else can direct this novice to the right place I will be eternally greatful. BTW I have a dish and also cable connection. Thank you

kryptview is only a cable box it cant work on a sat dish,if you have a dish pointing to 28.2 a sat box like the open box or vu range will be better than a kv box on vm cable, for either to work will need a lan connection also.so is it a cable or sat one you want, remember most have moved on to sat.
