Will Kryptview work?

I was thinking of buying a Kryptview a780, but 3 years ago i had a virgin media broadband subscription and now its cancelled. Do you guys think the cable line is still active and working? is there any way to test out the line by any chance?

I had a moden router, i plugged it in and the "sync" light shows but not the "ready light" so surely their must be some sort of a connection?

dont buy a kryptview mate its the worst box i have ever bought never stops glitching and scrambling and dont let them tell you its the superhub.

other people have the super hub and dont have a kv box and when you have a signal going up and down causes problems,agreed too much glitching lately go the sat route if you want better.
