what firmware is on your boxes is it 11112012?

Hi there everyone , i am in seven kings area and am new to kryptview , I have and kryptview 780 and scanned the box , i have also searched for software update but it shows already updated, i can get a picture sometimes but comes up scrambled no video quite a lot, anyone know if i am doing something wrong or is there anything i could try to improve this problem.

need more info are you on the 11112012 firmware,you have scanned the correct provider and chosen the correct net id [how did you get the info ? ] and lan cable inserted into rear of box,box and modem may need a reboot.
finally are vm having issues?

cactikid. The point I was making in my previous post is that said KV A780 STB comes back with found 47 Frequency's
& After it's completed the full scan my box normally states that it has found 470+ Channels which includes all the HD
Channels, all the duplicated channels, all the new TP frequency numbers which takes said completed listing of channels
up to 470+ on the TV left hand side of said menu and 37 Radio Stations that is what my KV A780 STB normally always
comes back with when it has completed said full scan and that's a fact

and had you done a factory reset before hand as duplicates you should not get and you mentioned 470 which is high to me,i dont have one or in uk hence my query.

You don't have a KV A780 STB

The only way the KV A780 STB problem is going to be resolved if the Server takes note of the points I'm trying to get across or it will be a case of the same old problem because the firmware released on November 2012 will not sort out the viewing problem either because we are not all singing from the same hymn sheet

Hi , I got the info how to do the set up from the seller, the software date shows 11/11/12 KV A780 pv4.1.05 hardware version v3.0.0 this is all the info i get in the sysem information

ok factory reset box ,try scanning another provider to see if that brings up other net ids nearest you to scan on.,the lan cable can be removed for scanning and inserted after channels are found.

Dont quite understand scanning a new provider, i thought you select the area closest to where you live and i always thought my provider was telewest

If it works on TW m8 then leave it if it aint broke and all that.......................
