Are you using VM Broadband ?, if you are then you cable line is active as both tv and broadband use the same cable. But I'd suggest taking out the minimal package.

not using your vm box will mean no talk back from their box to them,so they will know.

could you not use a cable splitter one going to vm box leave on standby one going to kryptviw box so vm will recognize vm box is connected periodicity watch free to air on vm box ps anyone know if kryptview do a hd box
