only 8 tps

after not using my k780 for 7wks .no programs, did factory reset, auto scan checked net id with vm box. after scan switched off router then 780 then back, on only result was 8tps starting with dl sa400 vm music none work, scrambled or no video on tv. using tp links in main sockets for internet. glad for any help

sounds like you scanning on wrong provider m8 as other ppl have been on recently and their provider has changed hope this helps yer

same as always never changed vm forget to say signal strength and quality 68 70

if its only finding 8 transponders then rather you have no signal at all or your box is faulty as if you scannel with the signal feed disconnected then all it finds 8 tps

the cable is connected straight to vm outlet, i have a feeling the power plugs which supply internet are not, check it tomorrow

I know you still on vm but try scanning all the providers vm does not show as a provider anyway so I guess you have scanned ntl this may now have changed even though vm is still your provider hope you understand I know it sounds strange but just try it

is your firmware 11112012 on the 780,factory reset then power off at rear for a min then on,try ex c&w to scan on then check for your net id from list,always scan from direct cable feed with lan removed,plug lan back in when finished,reboot box and router if needed.

tried all of above when I used c/w scan failed. firmware up to date ,still only 8t8s

try factory reset scan when 8/8 tp come on exit and do a scan auto scan trait after

iam a nob, fixed. when net was showing I just let it run instead of highlight correct one, then ok big thanks to everyone
