ONLINE UPDATE FOR KV HD A850

ok folks the kv hd box has an online update,usual rules apply

help im new to kryptview never done a software upgrade before ?

dont have that box either,yes internet upgrade select that ok ,dont touch anything until box updates,loads and box reboots,then factory reset and rescan from direct main coaxial feed with attenuator removed.

when i press internet upgrade nothing happens at all

what way have you wired up the lan cable and do you have a super hub?

yes i have a superhub ethernet just goes straight to hub

there lies your problem ,the box wont update through the super hub,you need to add a wifi router in between then go into settings of super hub and put it into modem mode only and use the wifi router for laptops etc,plenty of posts around re the super hub problem.

and i dont get how im meant to set the router up with the super hub ? .. do i have to put the main black cable into the router instead of the super hub or what im confused ?

is there no way i can download it off here and put it on my usb stick and update it that way as i used to when i had a starview box ?

i dont know how you have the super hub set up with a wifi router aswell can some one help me here please ?

from the kv your lan cable goes into a belkin or netgear wifi router and in turn a lan cable from that goes to super hub,by switching off wifi mode on superhub will increase you signal and you use your belkin or netgear wifi which is better,there is no firmware posted on any forum as kv have asked not to post it.your box will work better when you follow the correct set up.
