"scrambled or no video " appearing every few minutes. have updatd, re-scanned and no outside issues. anyone help?

In situation where your actually receiving the channel rescanning is fairly pointless as the channel is obviously available on the frequency the box already has. A rescan generally only has use where you actually lose a channel (because its been relocated to a different frequency) and even then the autoscan function (which works when the box is in standby, if enabled) should sort the problem.
4 times out of 5, that message would imply a codeword delivery problem. Somewhere between the box and the cardshare server information is either not being produced, being lost or being significantly slowed.Originally posted by danale"scrambled or no video "Comment

This is a common issue, although this is a nice feature it is proving unreliable. However the old way works much better. You need to manually upload the firmware using a computer. This is accomplished by inserting a null modem cable into the computer and then into the kryptview, once done there is software that will essentially push the bin file (firmware) to the kryptview box so it flashes it that way. The null modem method seems fairly straight forward and there are plenty of tutorials (even youtube) to show you how to do this.Comment
