ARRRRGGGHHHHH Help please

Please can someone help me ??
apparently the box was playing up last night (A780) I wouldnt know as i was asleep
So my boyfriend was messing around trying to fix it
I think he did a factory reset and now i'm not getting any channels at all
Please tell me he hasn't deleted the software that was on the box as it was already all on there when i first bought the box
I dont have any cables or anything to put it back on if he has
Please can someone tell me how i can fix it

watched the video and when i start doing the search it doesn't come up with the network scan box at all it just goes straight into a search but doesn't find any channels

When I want to search from scratch I do the following (the first 3 lines assume that you already have a channel list):-

Fom "Menu" select "User Preferences".
Select "Delete all channels". "OK" to confirm.
Wait for channels to be deleted.
Press "back" button once to go back to Main Menu.
Select "Installation"
Select "Factory default setting". "OK" to confirm.
This should take you back to the "Easy Installation" menu.
Scroll to "Automatic search" & press "OK".
Press right arrow ">" to select your network provider from the PDM. Press "OK"
Select "Channel search type" = "Network".
Press green button to start search.
Wait for "List of network ID" to populate (it will flicker a few times).
Scroll to the Network ID for your area. Press "OK".
The "Add TP List" box will appear & fill with the TP's it has found.
It will then scan for TV & Radio channels.
When finished press "Exit".
The default password is 0000

I do the same...btw i live in the south east and the provider I use is ex c/w.
