Do the +1 channels work?

Yep. Apart from Nat Geo Wild, all of the above channels started working again last night without a rescan.
Nat Geo Wild & all of the +1 channels listed in my earlier post are still not working, even after yet another rescan.
While that may be a problem for some, in my case it's not a transponder problem this time, as there are channels working perfectly well on the same transponders as the non-working channels listed in my earlier post. You likely have a marginal signal level which borders on failing for a particular transponder frequency. Either the local transponder transmits with a lower signal level (its common for VM to mal-adjust transponder output levels) or you have a cabling problem that causes excessive loss at a particular frequency.
Its quite likely even the working transponders are also marginal so you may suffer further problems as temperature/humidity change.Comment

On large server systems, its common practice to dump repeated (+1) and less popular channels when the card pool comes under stress from circumstances like individual cards going down (which happens suprisingly often). Using this method of dumping and re-allocation helps reduce downtime for some of the more popular channels thus reducing overall fault impact.Comment
