hi everyone, iv just tried to update my box the update was successful but all iv got on the front screen is a small horizontal line nothing else. what do i need to get rid of this?

Have you got anything on the tv screen. After flashing the box should go straight to the set up screen.

no nothing comes up on the screen which it did on my other box. now nothing is appearing on the box display looks like its not powering up. any suggestions?

If there is a PSU problem send it back to your supplier for a replacement. It is probably a bad cap but thats for your supplier to sort out.

got it second hand. now theres a green dot appeared on display. is that still a psu problem and can it be sorted out?

Have you tried a reflash?

just done a reflash and its sorted out the problem. thanks for your help satsmo.

nice to see it worked,curious did u stop anything or remove anything until box rebooted?

no i didnt remove anything until i scanned all the channels and there all working. i have just unplugged everything now going to use it downstairs. lets hope theres no problems when plug it all in.

just plugged box in and nothing no channels. all i get is 0 or 9 appearing on the display. have tried to update the box again as per one of the threads i read and now the updates keep failing. any ideas?

have just tried to update box it was successful but nothing appears on the tv just a blue screen and nothing on the box display. im getting fed up now with this box ive near enough tried everything my other box didnt have these problems just thinking of throwing it in the bin now.

i spotted on ebay someone who jtags starview,eurovox and kryptview,maybe someone else has info and might know.what date was firmware saying?

make sure you got power scan on!!!! press menu-system settings-other settings- power scan-on and leave on standby when not in use it should find any channels that move frequency, as the kryptview scan when in standby
