Kryptview a780 stuck at 100% then Downloading is NOT requested

Hello everyone, Initially my box was stuck at 100% when trying to download SW. I have since learned I need to manually flash via my laptop. I have now purchased three sets of RS232 USB convertors, but when I click start on KV loader it then says DOWNLOADING NOT REQUESTED. I have checked that the com is correct, correct bin, tried red red standby etc but still stuck. Can anyone give any clues as to what else can be tried to get it to flash. Thanks Sean

ok nearly missed read your post if it fails at 100% via lan that's because you have old sw on and that's normal ,download not requested request is a connection problem between pc and box you need to click start and then power on box you can get timeing wrong so keep trying ,failing that have you a m8 with a box that's updated as you can do box to box transfer with null modem lead

Have the box that is updated conectd to the tv.

Connect the two with Null Modem Cable
Select Data Download from the Instalation menu
                Select Code Send
                Hit Start

                Power on the receiving box.

The display on the receiving box should send the dashes round in circles.

Cactikid, If it wasn't for me being pleasant minded, I truly would let rip on you. Please just be quiet go away. I've read a number of your comments on a couple of sites, and you are simply downright rude to people. Learn some manners before jumping on people accusing them of things you CLEARLY know nothing about.

know nothing wow think loads would disagree there,a common thing bought is a serial cable for flashing boxes,it does not work no matter how much you try, people dont want to read the posts and always want spoonfeeding,so the question asked again is it a null modem cable and it has been used before for flashing boxes?
