oopa what have i done now?

Hi everyone wondering if someone can help , ive flashed my brothers a780 using bbox to box dowload a couple of days ago but when he got home he couldnt get the sports channels when he scanned. Thinking it was just something he was missing I reflashed it with latest download 270513 bot now when i try to power it up the display just goes to on,, ive read as many posts as i can find and they all say wrong download reflash with latest one so ive tried that but halfway through any attempt the display goes back to on and the download freezes. it sounds like im missing something really obvious but even when I try another box to box data tranfer the display just switches to on. What am I missing please?

try reflashing wit latest download which is 11062013

thanks taffyday but i cant reflash it ,part way through download display reverts to on, incidentally where do you get 110613 the newest one in downloads is 270513?

Try flashing first with FTA firmware. KV780 FTA - Downloads - Digital Kaos

Then try the May one. Kryptview_A780_26052013 - Downloads - Digital Kaos

If you get so far it will then update online.

This way sometimes works for Invalid Mac as well
