    Phoenix A850HD not working (channels)

    Currently, I have a phoenix a850HD box, it was working fine for a couple of weeks. However, I now cannot view any channels but I can see the details of each channel and what is on. The only channels working are the normal tv channels ( 1 to 5).

    I have virgin media and have been told that they have been cracking down on these boxes. I have done the latest firmware update via USB and still no luck with the box working to show all channels    .

    Would anyone know what to do to resolve this issue?

    Please advise.

      I had this problem but basically you just need to be persistant. Delete all channels, then factory default set and then scan. It may take a few attempts but it will eventually work (mine took 5 attempts).

          Do I have to keep updating it with the latest firmware after the factory reset?

              No need as you will already have the latest version on the box. The box stores the firmware.
