    KV780 TP already exist

    Hi everyone,

I am living in Ilford London, one month ago had a letter from V.M that they are going to upgrade and Internet will be off from 8am to 8pm. As I am Internet only customer with them.

Since then I haven't use KV at all, today I did sw update and its the latest one ( 17/07/13 pv 4.2.01)

I did factory default, rescan etc.

When I try to scan TP, it says TP already exist for about 11 lines.

Then automatically scanning 1/11 and bring up only VM on demand crap

My question is , does VM upgrade system in This area so we can't use KV anymore?
Bcoz my Internet is working fine, it has the same cable coming from VM hub.

Note: I took this box to my friend home in west London, it scan all channels n work fine there, but not at my home.

    Any advice please.

Do you get as far as chosing your network ID?

If so, are you chosing EX C&W & 7 kings?

Also have you tried connecting the box directly to the signal feed, without any splitters in the path?

      Thanks mate

I can chose EX c&w but after that when I press (yellow) button for TP search. Nothing happen so I can't chose 7 kings.

Tomorrow I will try from single feed Bcoz right now I am using a splitter with 4 other feeds.

After selecting your network (ex c&w), and channel search type (network), you should press the green button (Start Search). This should bring up the list of Network ID's.

In network IDs it says (already exist) for at least 11 times n them start channel search 1/11 n some time 1/12. I can't chose my own network like it use to be before. Are you in my area? Or anyone else in my area who's network still working?

I am not in Ilford, but my network ID is 41050, the same as 7 kings.

The only time I have seen my box (A750) show "already exists" is if I don't do a factory reset first before searching.

I have just tried removing the cable feed & doing a search. It still doesn't bring up the "already exists" message. It shows a blank list of network ID's. Then a blank list of TV & Radio channels, with TP = 1/1 & sig strength = 56. Then "Complete (Exit)".
