From what I can tell the 780 is nearly identical to the 750 except for the integrated ethernet. Its not a large leap to surmise that the problem is therefore linked to the functionality of the Iconnector rather than the actual stb. Possibly some form of throughput problem trying to stick fast ethernet packets down a relatively slow serial port.

good idea to ditch the 750 in my opinion as anyone owning one must have had it years unless of course they are the type of person that doesnt like to spend much money and bought a used one.
listen if the end of the 750 makes the 780 run a lot better then its only right and fair on the people who have just bought a 780.Comment
