    a 780

hi guys. just bought an a780 yesterday and done all the usual set up stuff and got the channels up and running well most of them. i have tried reboots restored factory settings and they still wont show anything. there is about 23 in total and most of them i probs wouldnt watch anyway but comedy central & +1 wont work and i do watch that. also sky 1 is glitching aswell. any ideas on how i may solve this problem.

yes they have been noted as not working and sly1 glitching may be due to low signal and quality levels

thanks for the reply. tried everything i can think of. id is the only 1 that comes up 00002 glasgow, kryptview a780 pv4.2.01, v3.00 tp topping at 55. signal strength 56 to 88 but mostly from 77 to 88. network is ntl also. have also turned off box and super hub for 30 secs. coaxial cable straight into box. brand new lan cable. s/w updated on 17/6/13. cant think of anything else to boost signal or quality.

cheerz mate. a missus said also that sky disney and itv4 were glitchin today so that must be a signal problem then but seem to be getting a strong signal with other channels. ive got one of them super hubs, could this mybe be were the problem stems from as i have about 23 channels not showin at the moment.

but are you on another provider,i would factory reset, and try each provider in turn to see what results you get.

that was a long time ago and many things have changed, even if you can get a net id off a providers box close to you then will give you an idea if you on correct provider.

                            like this.
Using your subbed box... Not the KV box.

Press the home button on your VM remote control.
                            Go to settings.
                            Then technical stuff.
Your net id is the first item on the list.

I have now tried everything u suggested and still the same but thanks for ur help. the id off the vm box is 00002 the same as what i am getting from the ntl network on vm. also tried all the other networks no id came up and u were getting an 8 on tp. so i reset it on ntl network 00002 id comes up so do a scan. same result. tp of 55 and same channels missing and glitching so the only thing i can think of is the quality of the signal is letting it down as the signal seems to be good over all. clutching at straws now to be honest.
