Need help urgent Struggling scanning on Kryptview

ok have put direct to cable, nothing else in, scanned channels go in ok, then reconnect everythin up and the channels either scrambled or no signal signal is 60% even when do direct connection, i factory reset first, in bradford area used 40961, am running out of ideas put my starview in and get signal 95%? ive used these sv for a while, but new to kv however i cant get to work, please help, sure firmware is latest 17/6/13 4.... etc

s/w needs updating to aug 2013, that's what's wrong

Connection to box from router is it wired, if so does a light flash at the back of the box, if not, change ethernet cable
