Kryptview 'Scrambled or No Video'

Hi all,
New to these threads !! Have just got a kryptview A750 - Downloaded software & tried to scan for channels. All channels are listed but only the FTA channels are actually showing a picture. All other channels are showing 'Scrambled or No Video'. Any assistance would be appreciated !!!

i had exactly the same problem earlier, then i got all the channels by waiting a bit but they then started crashing the whole kryptview. any help would be great

did u download the latest firmware and scan correct providers with no splitters.

I have had mine on for the last couple of hours & still nothing. Taught that i had loaded firmware in incorrectly initially so flashed the box again. Still the same problem. If anyone has a solution, please let us know !!!

Flashed with latest firmware 19.03.09 & have no splinters !!

try 6001, change the numbers around, thats what i was thinking i did

Sorry, when you say change the numbers around - not sure what you mean ??? Can you explain, sorry for being so stupid.

try 6001, then it will have ntl with 2 sets of numbers next to it, can you scroll down and change it to the other set of numbers? this worked for me, but my kryptivew crashes now and again. im a total newbie as well

thanks, but punched in 6001 & wouldnt hold station, defaulted back to station 406. I will leave it for the night & try again topmorrow. Thanks for your help - Much appreciated.

if you press menu scroll down to system info you will see what firmware you got on if it dated 19.3.09 you flashed box properly. when you go to do scan press menu, installation, 0000, auto search, select your provider n*l or tw or whoever then in channel search type, select network and then start search should take approx 15 mins after that scroll through channels to sly sports 1 press ok and let it update. when that opens the others will be open.

Thanks Wilf. Have done what you advised & the firmware was indeed incorrect. Reloaded correct firmware (19.03.09) & scanned for channels. Now have a message 'Waiting for code update'. Its set on S*y sports & has been like that for about 2 hours now. Is this normal.

mine normally clears straight away when i load firmware

I think so. I am on the N*L in Dublin. There were 3 possable options & I picked Dublinlegacy. This was mentioned in previous threads.
