Hi all new to the scene recently got the above followed tutorial on set up but can't get all channels comes up scrambled. Does the white cable need to be in and the ethernet cable? Read forums went into menu,installation,factory reset pressed green button selected town still nothing. Have changed null modem cable using fathers laptop with xp as I have vista. Stuck any help much appreciated. Thanks.

2 cables always in box coaxial cable and internet cable for it to work with current firmware,what date is your firmware latest is in downloads,sometimes box and router need powering off at rear for 30 secs then on. -
I'm using the 2013 firmware the latest one think May, have been switching box off before pressing start saw a thread about changing comm port speed changed it to 115200 from 9600 is this right? Hasn't worked next step will be to turn router off as well.Comment

i hope you are using an old pc with serial port and null modem cable and on the kv loader you can change com 1-4 to see which one works.Comment
