no channels on KV A780

    no channels on KV A780

    can anyone help, my kv A870 has been down just got normal tv channels for the last 4 days I have rescanned and its still coming up with scrambled or no channel

    check what firmware is on box first.

        menu-system info ok= should see a date of firmware.

          hi it says date 16/08/2013, software version kryptview a780 pv4.2.03, h/w version v3.00

            Most likely an net problem, check lead (if using a Ethernet cable) from router/hub to box there should be a flashing light on the box, if not change cable. Sometimes just rebooting box, router, modem, can fix the problem

              thank you, its still flashing, but I think maybe it used to flash faster and brighter and I have tried all the above resetting all the router, modem and have scanned the box a few times but still not on, my internet is still working on my pc so maybe its an net problem as I only have channels 1-5 on the box I don't even have freeview ones either

                From what you say the channels are all there but show "Scrambled or no Video" if showing "No Signal" that would be the VM feed, was a factory reset done at anytime.

                  yes all the channels are there with the description of whats on and the signal strength looks pretty good, but its just shows scrambled or no video on the screen, I have done a factory default setting before I done the scan as that's what the tech guy told me I had to do last time it went of

                    ive ordered a new Ethernet cable now so as soon as that comes ill try that so that can be eliminated

                        Try the ethernet cable in another port on the router, factory reset some people after doing a factory reset have lost their NetID and have had a lot of bother getting channels back.

                          i have unplugged all cables and left all the internet of while I have been and done the school run and when I have rewired it back up, the channels have come back on but keep going back of so ill replace the Ethernet when it arrives, thanks so much for your help

                            my channels are still not on they came on for a day and went of I have replaced the Ethernet cable and the only channels I have got are 1-5 the rest are saying that the quality and signal are strong but scrambled or no video on screen - please can anyone help
