    A780 Frozen on Menu

    Hi All
See attached image of view when box is switched on any advice would be appreciated.
Have a tried a number of things which include the following:

    1/ check connections, swopped splitter,
    2/ Factory reset.
3/ rescanned only on 8 TP's found. no channels.
4/ Flashed firmware, message successful. Still when box is switched the following menu appears. ( see attached Image )
    frozen.jpg
On stand bye only 4 dashes with a flashing dot in center below.
Again any advice on how to fix the problem would be appreciated.

    Area in Lichfield

menu will always come in when no channels are stored, first of all what firmware is on box and was in updated online.as your in that bermuda triangle where no kv worked until THE LITCHFIELD FIX was posted, may have to search old kv threads of what they did to fix.

      Hi
      Thanks for the reply
      System info is
      Date 16/08/2013
      Software Kryp A780 pv4.2.03
      H/W v.3.0.0

Since my last post the box has updated, and after putting the Stafford/Licthfield fix in l now have some channels back from 2000 to 2083
      No scrambled channels.

Thanks to your input, it seem that it is only setting l have to play with?

      Cheers

Just a quick update, everything back now, box updated, and new rescan found most scrambled channels so 2014 maybe OK.
Thank again for pointing me in the right direction.
