Continual filching on an A780, is it just me?

Guys. I'm seeing my service glitching every few minutes. The screen freezes then drops off with the usual "! Scrambled or no video" message. It comes back after a couple of minutes but it's getting really annoying and more regular. Software on the box says Date of 16/08/2013, software pv4.2.03, h/w version v3.0.0. Signal strength is in the 80s and so is the signal quality. I'm in Edinburgh. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how I can fix this, or if it can be fixed? Any help much appreciated.

****** The title should read "Glitching"!!!!!******

Hi Cactikid. Thanks for the prompt response. The weather isn't too bad up here and there are no problems with my vm box which is working as expected.

Just tried that process and I have just had it freeze twice so doesn't seem to have helped. Is there anything else I can try? There were vim broadband problems in this area but nothing wrong with the cable service as far as I'm aware.
