lost channels ???

Hi all could someone help with my problem in turn may help others,

I have a kva780 certain channels will not come on .
one to five sports 4 and sports news etc .

updated reflashed etc

thing is I have 2 boxes so have tried channel data transfer etc one box works one always missing channels off same feed firmware etc

I can only think fault in tuner ???? have re flashed incase bad flash can put identical software and chanel data on both = same result ?

any help appreciated have readup to try myself

thinking there are a number of channels not working,list them for others to comment on working or not,always scan from strongest feed.

if you swapped boxes around the fault is it still on the same box or moved to the good box meaning bad cable.

Thanks for reply same cable always, have tried direct nosplitters why the same box channels missing one two itv four five sk# 4 sk# news have even done channel data transfer factory default etc always the same outcome yet other box fine ?

Try finding out the transponders frequency of those channels you listed off the other boxes and manually scanning them on the box you're having trouble with.

its always the same box cactikid I can put channels on by box to box but they will not show "scrabled or no video"

wrong netid on the box? date of firmware as well might help?

but he says he did firmware reflash and channel transfer from box to box? does sound like a weak tuner but loaded a list so should work

im no expert on these boxes ,but have fitted hundreds of boxes
have done all I can thinkof checked everything I can

I think its not cable splitter connections signal etc
is there a way I can check tuner?

Like I said have 2 boxes 3 houses to test in must be the box I can reflash any firmware if you have suggestions ?

Any answers people can I test or buy a tuner I know they are soldered to main board ?

The channels you list use different TPs, e.g. 283 Sky Arts 2, 330 4 Music, 337 Smash Hits use the same TP as SSN so if the tuner is picking up that frequency for other channels would say it's something else, are the channels there but under a different name/number.
