    Live Sub

Getting my A850 next week, will it work okay if i just have vm broadband and phone in my house? I take it this still is a live feed for the box?

I seen previously these boxes had issues with the superhub, this still the case?

    Thanks

Yes it will work fine. You will have to split the line that currently goes to your superhub so you have a feed to the hub and a feed to the box. That's the set up I have.

The superhub problem was solved in the last firmware update as far as I remember but I don't have one so can confirm.

Some people say if you don't have a minimum tv sub you may have signal issues but I've never had a problem. I used to have a sub though.

Thanks for your reply. Would this signal booster work if the vm signal isn't strong enough due to having no tv sub.

I am going to have vm broadband and phone with 2 A850's.

      Thanks

Hang fire until you try the boxes first before buying a booster. I bought the very one you have linked to thinking my signal was weak when in fact it was too strong and I needed an attenuator (this was way back before the issue with the PSU came out and was resolved by a mod).

In general the more splitters you add to the line the weaker you will make your signal at the box so by putting that booster in front of the first split it may help to some degree. However if you already have a noisy signal the booster may well make things worse as it also boosts the noise! I'm afraid its a bit of trial and error but as I say wait until you have tested the boxes first before buying anything.
