only fta channels

Kryptview a780 is only letting me have FTA channels . Have done a complete update a complete scan nothing happends. scrambled or no video keeps coming up on sly channels .
ethernet connection ok even plugged my laptop into the sme cable and works fine.
coax checked thats ok . router working as i can use wifi - ethernet direct cable ok . still the same problem scrambled
any help inprogreesing this fault would be great
have taken it to my mates house he is on the same net work as me and works fine there but not here

sounds like a lan connection issue,did you reboot box and router as in off for 20 secs then on? try a different lan cable also?

Yes tried a new lan cable . Any chance it could be the router its self. I'm gonna take it to a friend's without my router and use the Ethernet cable to see what happends. If it works there then it must be a router problem here. Or virgin playing around .will get back asap .. cheers
