are you using desk top or laptop? do you have a null modem cable that came with the box?

            I am using a desktop.

My old box was Eurovox and I am using the same cable.

hmm try a factory re-set on the box first then try to update the f/w.

Tried with factory reset and counting before switching the box on, but same problem..

I will try to find another PC to use for downloading.

In the meantime if you think of anything it will be appreciated..
