When i bought my "freeview"box i was told to scan about every 6 weeks or so.What do you suggest for KV780,and which is the best method,auto.manual, or factory reset?

You should only need to scan when any working channels go off
Fac-reset, remove LAN-cable, Auto-scan is best
If you turn on POWER SEARCH MODE in menu & put box in
stand-by overnight it will find any missing channels

Thank`s for advice eamo2,should get my "homeplugs"sometime near future let you know how they do.I read somewhere that 90 degree bends in earthent cables are not good.Got 6!!! in my 20mt.length.

Yes make sure firmware is up to date, hit OK on S/W update.
Box will scan for channels on stand-by without LAN-cable
connected or router turned on, so you can do it any way you like

Hello eamo2 said i would let you know when i have the "homeplug" system installed,o.k. so far,did has you advised for the scan,so far so good.
Will kv780 work with a satellite system?

In kv,menu there is a list and at the bottom it says signal deviation off,try to change it but nothing happens,whats this?

Slight changes to the signal deviation can sometimes cure pixelating.

freeview channels

i have to unplug the ethernet cable to recieve freeview channels this can't be right can it????????????
