hi all my phoenix a850 box isnt working when i turn it on it says boot then on then off then displays the time on the box tried flashing the box with the latest software via rs232 which the box accepted but its still doing it any ideas?

ah the boot fix,think it is like flashing the 780,have box off at rear press download and power on box and it should load and box reboots.Last edited by cactikid; 1 July, 2014, 19:14. -

also tried the firmware loader on the sticky at the top of the forum but it needs .bin file i can only find .img file for the a850 firmware?Comment

no only 1 bootloader with 850 file,using any other may brick box permanently

A850 HD 232 Serial Flash Tool In Downloads
You Will Need A Serial Null Modem RS232 Cable.
On the Loader App Select The Com Port.
Press Browse And Select The A850C_FW_V1.01.06.img File Thats Included.
Power Off your A850 Then Press Send On The Loader Then Turn The A850 Back OnComment

already had that loader and fw and done all that it uploaded it to the box said updating then finished box rebooted but it still was the sameComment
