    KV A780 "Gateshead"

alot of members are asking if theres a problem their loosing channels there is a wide spread fualt which is reaching from Lincon and has reached Gateshead channels reported being Glitchy constantly on/off blocking of quality loss of channels speacially those from lower signals are reported to have gone off.
now this information sounds like us all this is acually infomation from vm customers to their faults department, NE3**** areas have been told a problem has been identified and work is being carried out est was 6.30pm today 09/07/2014 but due to local storms this morning and flash flooding est has moved to 10.00pm tonite.
ill update as soon as ive checked my area that no more holdups have caused work to prolong the est og 10pm you want your local information use their service-status page and add your post code to get a proper area reading of faults

The fault at Nottingham that affected Lincolnshire was fixed Saturday evening.

Remember that Virgin is not one big network but several regional networks, hence the different network ID's. Many big cities had their own cable systems, these were bought up initially by NTL, Cable & Wireless and Telewest, then those 3 were bought up by Virgin. The organization is national but the infrastructure is pretty much still local. In other words, there can be a National fault but a fault in Nottingham would not affect Gateshead or Derby or Leeds etc.

Gateshead service errors have now been cleared and site showing all services are running ok theres still glitching on the channels alot smaller than there was and flicking for split seconds to the channels are encrypted only for split second i think its down to my setup i have my modem hard wired direct to the kv box no router used in my room.
the channels I.D,universal, syfy are down in my area but my point is Gateshead services are up and running.
              TW NET.ID services running gateshead,hebburn,jarrow into s.shields

yeah your right the wide spread faults i recorder was down to various areas reporting the same fault apart from the big server down in lincon the reports from customers were the same reports as i seen in my area the ex.c&w,tw and ntl i cant comment on but the numbers for the tv services that we all see and use is the same ie tivo on demmand and so on its them faults i went on as those when 1st reported on the 2nd july was when my area telewest started seeing the real bad glitching on the kv but alot of areas had completly seperate issues phones and internet down but i couldnt add them as it isnt those that was effecting myself luck enough i die without internet
