Hi All. I live in the Glasgow Area & I?m not receiving SSP Five (5) In other words my STB is picking it up
But it?s seriously glitching like you all know the screen scrambled or no video message & it?s constantly
After every thirty seconds viewing it?s so frustrating that one can not watch said channel. Before anyone
Points out try changing ones splitter or cables yes I?ve done that but it?s still the same problem. I?m on
The fastest Broadband connection so it?s not down to speed & my signal & quality readings are high I?ve
Also checked via the manual tuning option in the installation menu the TP setting which is 371.00 which
Is a normal signal strength & signal quality in other words said setting is fine because when I?ve slightly
Adjust said TP setting either way & I lose said channel altogether via no signal quality reading &
Permanent No Video message also I?ve tried adjusting the SR:-6.952 & QAM:-256 from said settings too
6.887 & 64 all to no avail I?ve even re-flashed said STB with other firmwares incidentally my STB seems
To work better with the May 2013 firmware as opposed to August 2013 less glitches however said firmware
Changes have not made any difference either while I?m on the subject of firmware changes I?ve also
Noticed over time that the official software readings in the user preference menu under Sat/T.P. Edit
List 1-55 I?m referring to here the SR & QAM readings tends to be more reliable & different too all
The said readings/list of any other firmware out there that is available in other words my STB tends
To work better by sticking to the said SR & QAM via said official software list in other words taking
Note where SR & QAM changes on said list is & sticking with those numbered changes on the 1-55
List for a while in other words until it?s necessary to take another reading from said official software
Again then so be it point being the said official software SR & QAM list is more reliable than any other
Firmware out there as regards to changes within the 1-55 list under SR & QAM which can be changed
Manually via ones remote control a point that firmware writers should take into account when writing
Said firmware however I digress from that matter for the time being anyway to get back to why I?m
Of opinion that said KV A870 needs updated as mentioned it?s now twelve months ago (1 year) since
Said firmware has been updated & also SSP Five was fully operational from 12/8/14 & has only came
About since around the middle of July 14 leading up to said fully operational date so therefore all
The firmware out there maybe recognises said new channel on the block but has problems processing
