    Guide To Re-Setting KVA780 STB

    1) Unplug Ethernet Cable From The Back of Ones Router (Why? You Don?t Need To Use It @ This Juncture)
    2) Go To The Main Menu Window Via Remote Then Go Into The User Preference Window Password
    Is ?0000? In Said User Preference Window Scroll Down To ?Delete All Channels? & Press Okay
    3) Once All Channels Have Been Deleted Press ?Back Button? To Come Out of Said Window
    4) Then Scroll Up One To ?Installation Window? & Enter ?0000? In Said Window Scroll Down To ?Factory Default? & Select (Ok/Save) STB Should Then Automatically Go Into Automatic Scan
    Window Anyway Scroll Down To Automatic Scan Option & Press Okay & Then Small Green Button
    On Remote To Start Automatic Scan After Completion Said Scan Should Come Back With A 1 ? 8
    Selection @ This Juncture Don?t Panic What We Are Looking For Here Is The Updated Frequency
    List Which Should Come Back With A List (Cool) After Completion ?Exit Button? Then Let STB
    Go To Whatever Channel Then Go Back Into ?Main Menu Window?
    5) In ?Main Menu Window? Go Back Into ?User Preference Window? (0000) & Scroll Down To
    ?Sat/T.P. Edit? Which Should Display A 1-4 List With N*L As Number One If Not Then Back
    Button Out & Scroll Up To ?Language Setting? To Of The List In Said ?User Preference Window?
    Set Second Language To Whatever The Default Setting Is Dutch I Normally Set It To French Once
    Done ?Back Button? To Go Back Into Main ?User Preference Menu? Then Scroll Back Down To
    ?Sat/T.P. Edit? & Press Okay Right Now You See The List I?m Referring Too 1-4 With N*L @
    The Top (1) Select Your Provider For Example Vermin Is N*L & Press Okay A List of 1- 8
    T.P. ? SR & QAM Should Appear To The Right Hand Side of Said Sat/T.P. Edit Window
    6) Via The STB Remote Change Only I Repeat Only The SR & QAM Settings Do Not Adjust The
    T.P. Settings From 1-8 Or 8-1 SR?s & QAM From SR:-6.887 & QAM:-64 Over Too SR:-6.952 &
    QAM:-256 One Has The Option Of Doing This By Following The Change Instructions @ The
    Bottom of Said Sat/T.P. Edit Window Or It?s A Simple Case of First Line For Example Press
    ?Okay? To Access Then ?Right Hand Side Arrow? Next To The ?Okay/Access/Save Button?
    To Change Said Line Use Same Arrow To Move Small Yellow Highlighted Box Over From
    T.P. Setting Which You Leave Alone Too SR Setting Which You Change Too 6.952 Just Press
    Said Numbers On Your Remote 6952 Don?t Worry When You Use Said Exact Same Arrow
    Button To Move Over Highlighted Yellow Box Over Too QAM Setting It Will Change 6952
    Too 6.952 Then By Pressing The Arrow Button In QAM One Has The Option of Changing
    Said QAM From 64 Too 256 After You Have Changed Over Said SR & QAM On Said Individual
    Line Then Press ?Okay Button? To Save Changes
    6) After You Have Changed Over All The 1-8 List Of All The SR & QAM From SR:-6.887 &
    QAM:-64 Too SR:-6.952 & QAM:-256 Then Use ?Back Button? To Go Back Into The ?User-
    Preference Window? Then Scroll Back Down To ?Delete All Channels? & Press ?Okay?
    Don?t Worry (Trust Me) It Will Not Undo All The Changes One Has Made In The Sat/T.P. Edit
    List By Deleting All The Channels It Basically Gets Rid of All The Channels It Came Back
    With In The 1-8 Scan Which Are Not Required/Irrelevant After All Channels Have Been
    Deleted Press The Back Button To Go Back Into ?The Main Menu Window? Then Scroll
    Up One To The ?Installation Option? Then (0000) Then ?Automatic Scan? Then ?Small
    Green Button? Then Let It Scan For A Few Minutes Then It Will Instruct You To Press
    ?Okay? Too Acknowledge Which Ones Does Promptly Then It Will Go Back Into Another
    ?T.P. Scan Window? With Coming Back With The Words ?Already Exist? In This Window
    It Takes About Five Minutes Plus (Time To Get The Kettle On) To Go Through Said Scan
    Then Eventually It Starts Flickering Through A List of Frequency?s & The Number 47
    (Forty Seven) Will Appear Then It Will Rifle Into Another ?T.P. Scan Window? Only
    This Time A TV Channel List Column Will Appear Along With A Radio Column List
    Along With A Scan List of 1 ? 55 Which It Will Scan Through After Scan Is Complete:-
    7) It Should Come Back With Around 532 TV Listings & Around 38 Radio Stations Said
    Full Scan Has Now Been Completed From Start To Finish This Process Roughly Takes
    About Twenty Minutes Obviously Quicker The More Familiar One Becomes @ Carrying
    Out Said Process Point Being It?s Worth The 20 Minute Hassle To Prolong Ones Viewing
    Pleasure & Said Process Works Fine All The Time As Regards To Keeping Said STB
    Up & Running (Make Sure One Plugs Back In Their Ethernet Cable) To Go Back Into
    The STB Channels Remember It Was Disconnected @ The Beginning Of Said Process

    A Big Thanks Goes Out Too The Official Software For Providing All The Said Useful Data

    As Regards To ?User Settings? In The ?Main Menu Option? Third One Down On The List
    Which Requires ?No Password? I Normally Set The TV Picture Settings Over From RGB
    To CVBS The Screen Size From Whatever Over To ?16.9? & The Screen Size To ?Full?
    It Tends To Enhance The STB Picture Quality Also In The Option Below Said TV Picture
    Settings In Small Cascading Menu I Also Change The Screen Contrast From 20% Down
    Too 0% Which Even Enhances The Picture Quality Even More Clearer Also In Same
    Menu I Personally Switch Off The ?Last Channel List? As Well
    I Also Tend To Avoid Surfing The Net While Using The Said STB @ The Same Time
    I Avoid Prying Eyes

    I Also Regularly Reset My Broadband Router (Why? Again, Avoid Prying Eyes)
    To Reset Ones Router

    1) Unplug Ethernet Connection Cable From STB Too Router
    2) Take A Small Precise Screwdriver & Gently But Firmly Hold In Reset Button Opposite
    Side Of Flashing Three Lights (2 Greens & A Blue) For About Forty Seconds
    Start To Finish Of Said Reboot Procedure
    3) What One Is Looking For Here Is Three Purple/Blue Lights Then One Single Green
    Light Then Two Green Lights Together Then When It Gets To Three Green Lights
    Release The Reset Button & Let The Router Reboot Its Self
    4) Once Router Has Fully Reset & Said Lights Are Displaying One Blue & Two Green
    Lights Then Said Router Is Back Up & Running Normally
    5) Re-Connect Ethernet Cable From STB Back Into The Back Of The Router

    By Carrying Out Said Router Reset Procedure This Can Also Help To Rectify Most Viewing
    Problem Issue If Not Then STB Needs Re-Scanned Using The Above Following Procedure
