Network ID for Hayes 40980 - not showing up on search

    Hi guys,

I've got 2 kryptview boxes. On the the A780 box the netword ID for hayes shows up. However for my Kryptview HD box, the Network ID doesn't show up.

Anyone got an idea how i can fix this? i've connected my HD box through direct feed (which is live - Paying a TV subscripton for vermin) but still nothing...

    thanks,

40980 network ID is still not showing up when doing the search. Is anyone else having this problem with the Kryptview HD box? anyone know a fix for this?

just seen this, try scanning from main direct coaxial feed no splitters or router as you want a higher signal, factory reset before new scans, maybe on wrong provider if your netid is not showing and try another?

        thanks Cactikid,

Tried all of that, still not showing up. Called virgin to check the signal and they said it was fine, both Broadband and TV.

i have noticed when searching for Net IDs it goes up to (number 2 out of 11) when it says search is finished.

my other Kryptview a780 is fine, net id shows up...

not sure what the other options are tbh...

did you try factory reset/rescan after you powered off box and router for 30 secs then on,try other provideres.if you have a provider box recheck info like provider and netid in case it changed.

I am not familiar with this box but if it has a tuner set up the same as dreambox leave the net id blank all 0000 choose the nearest cable provider to what you want eg cable uk and scan. it should put in net id itself on a few box's.

JUST CHOOSE THE NEAREST NET ID TO YOU YOU MAY FIND AFTER THAT IT LOADS YOURS AFTER SCAN.

            IS THIS OF ANY USE

not having correct net id may mean lost or non working channels.
