Personally I don't think the server can cope,these boxes have just become too popular.

Your guess is as good as mine but I'm not so sure.

The HD box has been out of stock everywhere for ages so you would imagine there will not have been any more load on the HD server than normal. Even with the footy season starting I don't think that will have made much of a difference as people still use the box off season, and when it has been working it has been working really well. There was a while recently it was working better than ever imo. Even now the likes of SS1 HD, probably the most popular channel/TP is pretty much glitch free.

As far as the SD box and server go I cant image many more people have jumped over from sat as what they are after is the HD channels. If anything with more and more C/S servers appearing for cable I can see the boxes becoming less popular.

Hopefully it all settles down again soon.
