need to fix a780 or new 1

hi can any one tell me if i can get my box kv a780 fix or do i just get a new one
can i have some advice on this as missing all the football as box been broken for weeks

stuck in search mode will not reload or take new firmware and the loader say error or the screen gos green

are you using aug 2013 file from downloads,null modem cable from pc with rs232 port,if your stuck on searching you have not found channels so you cannot exit out,on the kv loader you can change com ports 1-4 one should work,look at the kv tuts to refresh memory.

i have tryed to change the ports and have tryed to refresh the kv but every thing i try or do just says error or on port /or no asked for info i have null cable and the same lap top as i used the first time to load up the kv

downloading is not requested,?? box has to off at rear first before pressing download and power on,hmm error could also be a com port issue if your using a usb adapter.

USED NULL CABLE NOT A USB ADAPTER I HAVE JUST TRYED TO RESET THE BOX FROM THE RESETTING PAGE BUT STILL JUST GOING TO SCAN I HAVE BEEN TRY ALL THE THING ON HERE STILL STUCK ON SCAN

if you are stuck in installation page box has not found channels,scan from main coaxial feed chose correct provider and net id.

hi mate got the box working was a damaged coaxial loks like dog had a chaw
but i still have a prob with channels as i am not getting moves and aload of other channels

not seen any reports of missing channels,so wrong provider or net id used.
