KV A780 not working at all

Hi Folks, Looking some help. my KV A780 jsut stopped working today. Only screen I can get is the Easy Installation screen. I have done factory reset & re- flashed but nothing. any help appreciated.

you need to rescan for channels again, I think the option is right at the bottom of the installation screen automatic search, select which network ie telewest,ntl etc then the green button

Already tried that M8. Still nothing. Keeps going back to the easy installation screen.

one of the reasons to have a basic package not followed,have you scanned from main coaxial feed? are you on current firmware,just in case you missed something?

hi, when you go to automatic search do you get the option to select a region/city or is it just ntl, or chorus, or telewest

Did this problem ever get resolved as a similar thing happened to mine this morning just as I was leaving for work . I can't get a single channel , not even the standard ones . It came up with the normal scrambled channel message on every channel and then when I switched off and switched on it went to the set up menu on screen and 0000 showing on the actual box. I HOPE this is not the end of for me ................... ??

Sorry ASEK I meant was it the end for the box as opposed to being cut off
I actually did a factory reset when I got home and go it up and tunning again. It DID however switch itself off and on once last night, which has never happened before, so something still doesn't seem to be correct with it but we shall see ......
