no network id for my area after factory reset

Hi, i did a factory reset yesterday on my kryptview phoenix HD A850 to get get new channels, when the reset was done my network was no longer there. I have posted on another forum and been getting help but nothing seems to work or unless i am doing something wrong.

there was a fix that someone had done on a 780 box but i have tried and cannot get it working on mine, this involved getting frequency settings from vm box putting them into manual search on kv box then doing a auto scan to find my network id. this didnt work because as soon as you find any channels on any manual or auto scan you can no longer search network provider id's until you have deleted all the channels.

i dont know what else i can do and am sure a few of the member on here will have seen my post on other forum and are probably sick of me so sorry in advance!

any help would be greatly appreciated

you forgot to post here ,from providers box :

Using your subbed box... Not the KV box.

Press the home button on your VM remote control.
Go to settings.
Then technical stuff.
Your net id is the first item on the list.
the first tp 57100 6952 qam 64



he got his hd 850 working again as he lost his net id,and the first tp listed on providers box is ....the first tp 57100 6952 qam 64 is not listed on kv box .
he entered those details and autoscanned and his net id came back

hi, I have same problem, same area and tried everything he said on other post and still no ghead. I have tried it several different ways and still no joy. I have used the info and put it in on manuel scan and tried autoscan and still nee joy but im not technical so not sure if that's where you put the 57100 6952 64 qam info. been stuck for days peeps any help would be much appreciated

I've obviously got this problem too being from gateshead and all. I've had to scan mine on wearside net id with the loss of none essential channels with scramble on some channels. At first glance channels seem to be quite stable at the moment with many free from glitching will can anyone concur.

Following on from previous post its a bit strange to see a net id disappearing like that.

as on his box it was not there so it had to be added,you need to factory reset then power off box at rear,enter correct data from your provider box and autoscan and your net id should come back up.

i dont get the fix but try and deduce the problem with a fix but as said you do the work to get that info off providers box,i would assume only way is to add details to manual scan and go from there.
remember if your netid is gone you have to factory reset first then power off box/on and scan from main coaxial feed to get strongest signal

hi u wont belive this i am hoples at any tec but i switched my kv off took out internet ghanged it on modem then factory default when id came up i pressed up button and orange ids came up with no numbers i kept on pressing and my area came up done rescan and i have it all now i hope it works for u guys no lie

How exactly did you fix it. This has been a problem for the A850HD box for a while. Still missing 40980 Net id!

read the dam thread its all there as i said what to do to fix it.if you dont bother to read the posts you wont fix your box.
