New KVA780 is here

As u know we had a few glitching issues for the past 10 to 12 days. The KV boys (God Bless them) have put a new firmware for KV780A in the download section of this website. Now updating using the remote still having a few issues what u need is to update using the null cable connection btw ur KV n ur pc/laptop and all working like a charm I did mine today n got few channels bk like H2 n (the x ones which I really don't need) no glistching n working like a charm. Go on n download the firmware it's only takes a few minutes. Good luck boys/girls.

I have a usb null cable and it's a ****in nightmare trying to use it, for one my computer won't recognise it, my drivers are saying up to date! (Windows8) Just wondering why the s/w update is hanging, seems to be trying but no joy. Have to say actually even without the update, the box is running better, just a glitch every 3-4 mins

Try a restart with the usb and null connected, also try a windows update maybe.

Probably right mate, my daughter uses 8 and it's just a pain with drivers, flash etc.

It's not 8 flashed mine this morning with win 8 64bit make sure u run loader as admin

He's using usb, so having driver issues it sounds like.

Gary I did my firmware today using my windows 8.1 all done and good to go no glitch no issues since about 3hrs now your pc doesn't need to recognise the device. All u need is to download the loader n update now you might need a win.rar in your pc to extract the downloaded files then save them on your desktop then plug your box n run the loader with your box off at the bk, press download, on the new windows insert the KV file n click start but make sure the box is on at the bk only before pressing start, once you pressed start turn the connected box on by pressing the front on button the left one at the front a few seconds later then let it finish the process. Like I said earlier it took me around 8 attempts before I get it right even though am a ccna qualified . Don't despair

ive downloaded the loader, I've downloaded the Kv update, extracted both to normal files. I'll give it a bash mate!

I understand the rush @Truth trust me once you done the new update you will feel like a kid... i was freaking jumping once I done mine thus morning. No glistching n new PTs including H2 n the x working like a charm... have a go lad

I will give it a go then ! The trouble is we use an Ipad at home and don't even have a PC other than my wifs from work and becuase it is a works one it doesn't allow you to do some things on there ie. It may not allow the downloads?

Ipad mean forget it! But ur missus pc might do the trick if u know how to do it! Good luck
