Please dont be nasty but I really need help with the update..ive tried through the remote for 4 days but no joy its got that bad im not even getting updating anymore now its stuck on searching for updates. .ive found the cables I need to try and do it online but after searching numerous posts I cant find the correct links to install the updates and I know I sound stupid but has the box to be connected by internet and switched on..could someone help please as ive never updated this way before.

Thank you spouse for your help I finally got it about 4 hours ago with your links..so thanks so much.......it all went fine truth..when I got my son to help me..I realised im crap at things like this after three days

its the simple things that trip people up,people were told to do online update late at night or early morning for best results,doing it at working time = brick wall as in everybody trying it,glad your up and running.Comment
