not tried too hard then as plenty of others had succeded in updating both ways,did you read the tuts and followed the video?

newbie that knows nowt about these boxes had mine over 6 yr m8 if yer aint happy I will take the box off yer hands and you can get a sub with vm or sly

I updated mine no problem with a cable and had never done it before. Followed the instructions and it went first time

you can buy mine if you want with a decent offer, mines has worked for 6 years too

most people do it early or late at night,sometimes rebooting box and router can help and hard wired to lan.

Between 1-00 am & 5.00 am seems best times.Updates straight away.
