Problem installing new update, help needed please, thankyou .

Hi all, I keep trying to update my Kryptview a780 via the remote control, it satrts the process but just stays on the "downloading started" page at approx 40% of download .. I,ve attemted this 3 times and it just stays on the page at approx 40% of the download ... Can soneone help please, thankyou kindly :-)

If u look at the tutorial about the new update you might find some wisdom but I would advise you to get a null cable and do it that way. Good luck

most people do it early or late at night,sometimes rebooting box and router can help and hard wired to lan.

Hi :/ i can,t seem to find the new tuturiol for the new update ? Can you tell me where to find it and what the actual worded title of the new tuturiol for the new update, thankyou kindly

what tut,there is only one that shows you how to flash box and setup its a sticky on top of the kv section,and when released a new thread should appear [ got lost ]

Thankyou to all for your replies, tho i,m still receiving channels on my a780 i,m still having problems updating via remote control .. Just stays on 40% ... Do i need to update if i,m receiving the channels ? I think its best if i do :-) ... I,ve bought a null modem cable and the usb converter cable, i,ve downloaded the 2 files ... The firmware file and the new update file tho i now realise i need something like winrar to unzip the files, i had a free trial with winrar last august tho its expired, i,ve looked on ebay and theres other zip - unzip disks for sale on ebay for around ?5 .. Are these suitable ? ( i guess i mean, do they work ) i look forward to yoyr reply, thankyou kindly ..

Thankyou to all, i,ve just managed to update via my remote, tho i do appreciate all your help :-) You guys have helped me along and i feel all the more educated with things ... Thankyou guys x

i used the null modem.but i couldn`t get to my disabled friend to do his so told him what to do during the night.
he done it with the remote at about 1am and said it took about 3 to 5 minutes
