    Difference with splitters

I've been trying to split of to the modem and to kryptview with a 2 way splitter, but it picks up fine then loses connection internet is fine, as I connect it direct & stays on no problem, soon as I split it connects for hour or 2 sometimes doesn't connect,
is there a gd splitter to use ? I only bought this 1 of eBay for ?2
Anyone help guys, gutted can't get it working for super Sunday footy.

cheap bad ones can give issues as the f connector types should give a better tight connection, good coaxial cable and good lan cable needed.

look the same as i have here and not on cable, how strong is your signal with it in place, and did you factory reset/rescan from direct feed first?

The splitter is not the best first off its a full band 5-2400mhz which would allow if strong enough signal leakage into it from both Satellite and nearby DECT etc...

You should be looking at one that just does 5-1000mhz which is what Cable and Freeview use.

          This would work far better:
          Code:
          http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120605382951?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D120605382951%26_rdc%3D1

Also worth considering is some decent cable and not the Garbage they sell in B&Q something which is at least double screened Braid&Foil as an example, As cable can also have a big effect dependant on the length of the run
