arnet a700c

hi all,

i have an arnet a700c box i can not veiw any channels as they have been scrambled. and as i am a noob i have not got a clue were to start or what i will need (cables, software ect...) to get all the channels working on it agian, if someone could give me a little bit of a bumb start? as i would be very greatful!

no a few months i havent used it for.

i just asked because mines just dropped a load of channels about half an hour ago for no reason.

i would try reflashing with the latest firmware and do a fresh scan

how do you start about doing that?

do you have the cable that should have came with your box?

it looks like a pc monitor cable

no i havent but i have a spare monitor cable

its not an actual monitor cable you need. it just looks like one, the cable you need is a null modem cable.

aswell as the cable you'll need either a pc with a rs232 serial port or a rs232 to usb adaptor.

your desktop pc should have the socket already but most laptops don't so you'll need the adaptor.

if you have a desktop pc then you'll just need the cable probably.

once you've got the cable go to the top of these forums and download the kryptview loader software, latest firmware and loading instructions.
