    Kryptview Alternative

    Hi

    I have a Kryptview A780 for a few years. It seesm that Kryptview regulary has problems with freezing and its channels, and then there is firmware update that is released that fixes all of that. This happens throughout the year.

    My questions is is see that there are other boxes out there line the "Open Box" "Eurovox" "Phenix" boxes, are any of these cables boxes better than than the Kryptview A780?

    I appriciate any suggestions.

      I am afraid thee really is no choice in the matter here especially for Cable it's either a Kryptview or get a decent Linux Enigma2 receiver do some reading on how you set it up and then away you go.

      I am afraid due to forum rules we cannot discuss this matter in too much detail so what i will say is get an Enigma2 receiver and the 'magic' part (Google Please)

          Faced a similar situation myself last year, I went with the dreambox 800, and once I read the stickys about installing etc.., it all went well, never looked back since.
          Admittedly KV was a breeze to set up, but I think it has run its course now.
