i cant see the logic if your vm box gives you your netid and frequency and entered into kv and manual scan you get 0?
forgot to add anybody also with a working 780 get info off your working channels and input into a factory reset and note your results, provider etc and qam?Last edited by cactikid; 26 July, 2015, 20:49.Comment

Delighted to report I got it back as well!. Tho had to do multiple delete all channels and rescans. Not factory default.
I also added the following TPs.
131.00 6952 256
131.00 6952 64
131.00 6952 128
It came through after I added the last one Dundee and Edinburgh were there as well. No idea if it was the TPs or just multiple rescans that did it. Or pot luck!
Off to the pub!Comment

This is the exact order I did everything when it came back, as I say no idea if it was the tps or multiple rescans or just pot luck so beware you may have to try different frequencies or multiple times to get yours back.
No factory default.
1. Delete all channels.
2. Manually add tp 131.00 6952 256
3. Network scan for my area, my netid did''t show so I selected a random net id then stopped the channel search before it found any channels by pressing the red button.
4. Back out and delete all channels
5. Manually add tp 131.00 6952 64
6. same as step 3
7. same as step 4
8. Manually add tp 131.00 6952 128
9. network scan for my area and my netid appeared along with Dundee and Edinburgh were there as well, and a few others.
I also had my superhub turned off for a few hours/disconnected and had tried multiple factory resets and rescans but all I was finding was the same 18 netids. Only when I added the tps did the others reappear.
My net ID is 90984 an my area is telewest which is why I stared with 131.00 as this appears to be the first frequency that is searched when you go into network scan for telewest.
Good luckComment

To add a tp on the a850
Installation Menu
Cable scan
Manual Search
yellow button to add tp
add frequency by typing in the number then hit down arrow on remote
add symbol rate by typing in number then hit down arrow on remote
add qam by scrolling through the various options using left and right arrows
hit ok to save tp then back out and do a network scan after deleting all channels if you haven't done that already (not factory reset)
this is to find a missing net id so you may have to find the right frequency to change for your area by trial and error. try adding the tps you have already but change the symbol rate and qam to 6952 and 128 as per my previous post.Comment
