Phoenix HD A850 - Moved home and got glitches more than ever

    Hi guys,

Recently I move home, I was in hounslow area and I was using Crydon as my network on Telewest or ex-c&w. The channels were working fine in HD quality.

I am moved in Ealing and I tried Crydon on both Telewest and C&W , there is alot of glitching and many of the channels are missing, even BBC news which is basically free on air is also glitching like mad.

Anybody living in Ealing or Acton area and using HD box? Any advice for picking right TP network please?

Or is this mean I have to buy a satellite box?

How to find net ID? Don't have any V.box in this home. Scan is directly from feed without any extension.

Today I disconnect the modem wire and connect The box only, free to air channels work fine. No glitching at all. I am using Vmedia internet too. What should I do to avoid glitching and same time to connect to the vmedia internet?

I have spliter but when i connect both modem and box to the spliter. Box start glitching.

might be a bad splitter as it lowers your signal down.are you sure your on correct provider?

What do you mean by provider? If you are talking about

              NTL
              C&W
              Telewest

i tried NTL ( no tp or network id)
Tried c&w (can get network ids)
Telewest seems yo have more channels if I choose Crydon as network.

Just replaced the spliter to the new one which came with vmedia modem, connected modem on Cable Modem and HD box on Box. Reset box and rescanned on C&W.

Still same glitching on certain channels

                BBC News
                C central
                Sky movies and many more.

UPDATE : It was stupid Modem vmedia send me two weeks ago which was old hub-1. Today Got the new hub-2 and scanned the box on telewest. Alot of channels and no more glitching, other than one or two channels.

But unfortunately there is no E4 or E4 + 1, missing my Big Bang theory

E4 HD is working fine for me.

The superhub shouldnt really affect which channels you pick up when you scan at first as you should be scanning from a direct feed (no splitter) and the box shouldnt be connected to the superhub via the ethernet cable until after the scan. All the hub does is unscramlble the channels once youve found them.
