    Kryptview & TP-Link

Hello, i think i am doing something wrong, or totally wrong in thinking this may work.

I have the VM Broadband router upstairs, and i would like the kryptveiw box downstairs, there is a router for the VM tv signal down here, so i am wondering if the TP-Link plug in would support this, it has ethernet support at the bottom of the TP Link device.

I have tried to reset the TPLINK and scan for my VM router, to success, but when i try the KY Box downstairs, i get the scrambled channels.

IS there any way of sorting this, or am i totally wrong in thinking this could work?

    Thanks in advance

is this a router you are talking about or perhaps a wireless Bridge/extender. As i know TP link do some wireless extenders that plug into your mains socket purely for extending the wireless signal from the superhub to eliminate blackspots arround the home.

If it is one of these then most models do have an RJ45 socket on the bottom of them so they can be used with an Ethernet cable.

If the TP link is this device then simply plug in next to your superhub press the WPS button on the superhub for a few seconds to activate then press the middle button on the TPlink which is also the WPS button so that they can so called handshake the wireless SSID and password normally takes around 2 minutes

Thank you so much you're an absolute star. Amazes me the knowledge people on here have for these things. Enjoy your weekend.
