Kryptview HD DW800 Firmware & Manual

Expect improvments to these areas soon.

To flash, place the file "kryptview_hd_v101_25092009.cnl" in the root directory of a usb pen or hard drive and boot the set top box up.
When it says "FILE 1" on front of box press right to show the filename, and press right again to confirm the flash.

The new HD DW800 will be in stock mid october,a small quantity have been sold already but now out of stock until october,great boxes!

Delighted so far with it.

Picture as you would expect very sharp. Watched the Juventus game on HD and definitely a noticeable improvement in quality - the picture that is not the football!

Recording simple and very good playback. Indications by some is that the epg not great with this release but works perfectly in my region ex TW. Like the mosaic function view multiple channels in one screen.

Always avoided hd boxes but thought this was very good vfm.

hi, i currently have a vm v+ box with hdmi connection.will the picture quality be better with the dw800 or just the same as the v+?

Hi all

Thinking of getting one of these now that they've been around a few months.
Can anyone give me pro's cons etc and is the current file autoupdate. I am only used to vermin boxes with moscs so this would be new to me.
Any help appreciated

one thing may stand in your way nagra 3 a new encryption which is rolling out in uk,used in irl 5 months ago and boxes now dont work, leeds followed also and there boxes went down

Thanks I did that when "FILE 1" comes up I press the right click and right click again it stays on " 1 KRYPTVIE " and on the TV screen it stays on the "Dream World DW800 Cable screen". If I right click again it comes up with "DATA ERROR" on the box ?

HI CAN YOU TELL ME IF YOU HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AS ME.
When im trying to download from usb stick to box,
