    Kryptview A700 problems in Ireland

    Hi guys, could anybody help???
My kryptview a700 doesn't show some cha*els. What's the problem? I've loaded firmware 12072009 but it looks it was old one.

will you have any fi*. because one more c*annel is down. It looks like they are going to do it step by step (one by one ch.). I didn't check how many of them off at the moment

i opted for the open media box myself, it has cable and satellite tuners in the one box so should either one hit any problems i have something to rely on. im not in an area thats affected by the n3 yet so am running the cable tuner, but who knows i maybe in the near future and am learning as much as i can about the satellite side of things. i ahve had a little play around with it and can find a few channels that are open without any subscription but the way forward seems to be cardsharing! but just remember this is strickly a no no on this forum you will have to google for this as i have and you can find plenty of info on this subject.

It's been a while since I last viewed this dodgy box forum... been hibernating in wait for a box that cracks UPC/NTL N3 encoding (Dublin area)... looks like a long winter ahead judging from the comments here!

Time to consider a Freesat box and dish as substitute... anyone got any 'best buy' recommendations in this area?

BBC 1 & 2 have now gone. 3 and 4 are ok. Firmware is up to date, and I did factory reset, deleted all channels etc.

                  Ch*rus cable in Limerick btw.

Thank you. Just remembered there is a splitter installed. I'll remove it later and try again. I'm scanning the correct area ok.

It's getting worse lads. UTV has now gone too. Having done everything correctly (I think) I feel we are getting picked off channel by channel.

It's Ch*rus cable in Limerick btw.

p.s. Seems I was right. Confirmed now that signal being recv'd for sports, movies, BBC1, BBC2, UTV, and C4 is a nagra 3 signal. The game seems to be up sadly.
